Hannah Wittwer
Hannah Wittwer has been has been working in agriculture for nearly 10 years on both for-profit and non-profit farms. Originally from NY, she earned her Master of Science in childhood education and NYS teaching certification in 2015, and was thrilled to join Shalom Farms in 2016 after relocating to Richmond. As the Volunteer and Education Manager, she gets to combine her love of teaching and farming by facilitating exciting learning and working experiences on Shalom’s 12-acre, Powhatan farm site. She hopes to contribute to a more just food system by supporting the development of positive attitudes towards sustainable agriculture, and building community around healthy food.
