Christina Mastroianni
Christina serves as the Community Foundation’s Director of Civic Engagement. In this role she helps ensure that HandsOn Greater Richmond effectively mobilizes community members who are willing to give back, while also equipping nonprofit partners with the tools needed to best utilize their volunteers. Christina wants volunteers to experience meaningful interactions with nonprofits and hopes to encourage deeper engagement through board service and continued investment. Likewise, she hopes nonprofits are able to best leverage community members to champion their cause and maximize impact.
Before coming to the Foundation, Christina worked for the Office of Community Wealth Building managing operations, communications and outreach. A natural system builder, Christina thrives as a connector between community members and organizations to create lasting, positive change.
When she’s not working she can be found spending time with her family in their Church Hill neighborhood. A lifelong urban dweller she enjoys porch sitting with neighbors and exploring the City.
